The Docklands Ringing Centre was formed to promote and teach the art of bellringing in Docklands and the surrounding area, including the Boroughs of Tower Hamlets & Southwark. This group, with support from various other bellringing organisations have helped organise the restoration of the bells at St James Bermondsey, St Giles Camberwell, Christchurch Isle of Dogs, St Mary’s Rotherhithe and St Peter Walworth. In addition, a completely new ring of bells has been installed at St Anne’s Limehouse.

The Docklandsringers welcome visiting ringers to service ringing or practice evenings, visiting bands, or people new to ringing who wish to come along and listen or maybe learn to ring.  We are a sociable group who usually refresh ourselves in the pub after practices and have a program of outings, training, competitions, weddings and quarter peal attempts.
