The Docklands Ringing Centre promotes the art of bellringing in Docklands, Tower Hamlets & Southwark. The groups that form our Ringing Centre are Bermondsey, Camberwell, Greenwich, Isle of Dogs, Lewisham, Limehouse, Poplar, Rotherhithe, Stepney, Walworth and Waterloo.
Welcoming new ringers
The Ringing Centre has a number of Teachers trained by the Association of Ringing Teachers and using the structured Learning the Ropes programme. If you’re interested in ringing then get in touch and come along – we have ringers of all abilities and would be happy to arrange your training.
Welcoming existing and experienced ringers
The Docklands Ringers welcome visiting ringers to service ringing, practice evenings or as visiting bands. We are a sociable group who usually refresh ourselves in the pub after practices and have a program of outings, training, competitions, weddings and quarter peal attempts.
Our regular practices are listed to the right of this website, but please get in contact to check the latest details and events.
Keep in touch
Regular ringers and alumni are welcome to join the Yahoo email group ‘DocklandsRingers’ to keep in touch for upcoming events and changes to scheduled service or practice sessions.
Regular ringers and alumni of the Docklands Ringers are also invited to become members of this website. Membership allows you to post, comment on articles, and access the ‘member-only’ pages. Contact the webmaster for details.
