4 Docklands ringers run the Bath Half Marathon

On Sunday 13th March Andrew, Gill, Jonathan and Sam ran the Bath Half Marathon.

The event was planned as part of Gill’s training for the London Marathon and it was also agreed it would be a fun day out.

All 4 runners successfully completed the race and we all pleased with their times.  Following a nice relaxing lunch and an even more relaxing afternoon, the ringers made their way to Bath Abbey to ring for Evensong.

2011-02-19 Calendar upgrade

The calendar feature has been upgraded. The main change is that locations are now supported. When an event is added, you have the option of specifying the location from a drop-down list – this then provides a link from the event to Google maps when you view the expanded calendar entry. I have entered the usual locations. If you need a new one added, please contact the Webmaster.

2010-11-13 DLR day out in Kent

On a crisp November Saturday a group of Docklandsringers set off on a tour of churches near Maidstone.

Churches visited included Harrietsham, Leeds, Aylsford, Barming and Staplehurst. We took lunch at the Bull Inn in East Farleigh.

Thanks to all the tower captains and assistants who made us welcome at their towers particularly Barming who stepped in at short notice. Pictures courtesy of Morag.
