New posts are automatically emailed to DRC members

The web-site has been updated to email all members when a new post is added. This is to ensure that all members have the opportunity to be aware of new posts without having to access the site to find out, subscribe to the RSS feed etc.

By clicking on the link attached to the email, you are directed to the new post where, as before, you will be able to add comments (if you log in).

I have subscribed all current members to this facility. However, you can opt out by going to the ‘notify posts by email’ option under the ‘members’ menu, or via the ‘(Un)subscribe to Posts’ option on the right hand sidebar. Or, ask me and I’ll do it for you.

Please note that emails sent from the web-site are not monitored so, if you reply to them, you will not get an answer.

All feed-back welcome. Pls add a comment on the post, or email Webmaster via the ‘contacts’ option.

Greg announces premiere of ‘The Bells’

I thought you might like to know about a  forthcoming premiere of mine.  It would be great if friends were able to make the May 11th date, which I am pretty sure is free.

First quarter

It was such a beautiful afternoon that it was tempting to stay in the sunshine instead of toiling up the belfry stairs and shutting ourselves up… but the quarter had been arranged – the first attempt at a quarter for two DRC members.  Not only were they successful – but it was a really well-struck quarter, very enjoyable ringing. So – many congratulations Alison and Douglas!!
