On M6 . Traffic slower but still going at 50 .

But still plenty of time .
Limped off at Keele Services .
.
Total gridlock !
Talked to truckers who just smiled when said got to be in London by 7.30 .
Slightly perturbed but still only 12.30 .
.
2 hours later . No movement .
The board says motorway should be open by 4 !
Great .
.
Decide to go for a walk .
Over fence . Come across encampment probably for the illegal aliens …
Through woods .

.
See village in the distance .

Yes !
Tied bell . 4 people . Beginners , locals .
.
I ring and help .My friend takes pictures .
He thinks that’s great for me , just what I wanted .
4.30
We walk back .
7 pm traffic starts to move . Slowly .
We pick up speed by 7.30 . We’re on the motorway again .
.
What a day !
.
Which just goes to show once you’re a bell ringer you can’t get away from it !
.
Anyway , how was the practice ? Steve J said he would try to get there .
